For the first time in months I found myself free on a weeknight my work team was playing. These circumstances did not come about how I wanted them to — I canceled a class out of frustration since one of my student’s parents did not return my repeated emails asking to confirm class times for a week, only for them to respond minutes after I'd volunteered to play in the game — but I tried my best to shake it off and enjoy the game.1
