Tannersville, in New York’s Greene County Catskill Mountains, is enjoying growing success as a tourism and second-home destination. But that’s putting already scarce housing stock out of reach for many people who live and work there. Employers report their biggest challenge is retaining staff who want to live locally but are unable to find an affordable apartment or home in the Village.
