The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has appointed a new president of the Academy Foundation. Kim Taylor-Coleman has been chosen to fill the role moving forward, elected to serve a one-year term, as is the standard for the position. Taylor-Coleman hails from an extensive history as a casting director.
