today was really nice! the sketching group i hang out with met at a park i've never been to before. the weather was beautiful, and i loved sitting in the grass and drawing a few of the things i saw and heard. P.S. for a few weeks i've been saying things like ahhh the cicadas are too high up in the trees... and i wanna see a cicada so bad... and come down to the ground cicadas i need to see you... and today we finally found one! recently eclosed and still a bit green on the wings. it let me pi...
