Lido V3 introduces stVaults — a new primitive that enables native staking through user-defined validator setups, with optional stETH liquidity on top. stVaults are non-custodial smart contracts that delegate ETH to the chosen node operator while maintaining withdrawal credential control. Stakers define key parameters as well: custody, fees, MEV, sidecars, insurance, and more. The original shared pooled model — stake ETH, get 1:1 stETH — remains fully supported.
