Today City Controller Christy Brady released an audit of the Department of Licenses & Inspections (L&I), identifying significant gaps in the department’s oversight of construction activities across Philadelphia. The audit, which examined both residential and commercial construction sites, highlights systemic issues that pose risks to public and worker safety, as well as the potential loss of city revenue.
