Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a painful condition that most often affects the hand, although the arms, legs, and feet can also be affected. CRPS is characterized by intense burning pain, stiffness, swelling and discoloration in the affected limb. Symptoms typically develop after an injury or surgery.
