Jeremy Pelzer has worked in the Columbus bureau of cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer since 2013. Prior to that, Pelzer worked for Gongwer News Service in Ohio and covered government and politics in Illinois, Colorado, Wyoming, and Washington, D.C. Among other awards, he has twice been named one of the best state-based political reporters in the country by the Washington Post. He currently serves on the board of the Ohio Legislative Correspondents Association.
