For better or worse, one of the desktops in my homelab needed a new installation of the OS but could not read the bootable USB containing Ubuntu Server 24.04. I decided to take this opportunity to get some experience to install Ubuntu Server with using the netboot tarball image instead. This post documents the steps of how I managed to do it.
