Riddings This walk around the industrial areas of Riddings and the surrounding areas traces the connections of the town to the Pentrich Rising of 1817. This series of walks points out 'what happened and where' to do with the Pentrich Rising. Although it is not known if any Riddings men actually took part in the rising, the Seven Stars public house alongside Riddings and Golden Valley woods do implicate the Riddings area in this event.
