A man who pulled a gun on a western Pennsylvania pastor will spend years behind bars for his crime. Bernard Polite was sentenced on Aug. 4 to up to 60 years in prison for attempted murder and murder, according to court records. In May 2024, Glenn Germany, the senior pastor at Jesus’ Dwelling Place Church in North Braddock, Pennsylvania, found himself staring down the barrel of Polite’s gun while in the middle of giving a sermon.
