For #TankaTuesday we practiced creating taiga, a form created by Robbie Cheadle and me for the Sunflower Tanka Anthology. I’ve written this tanka in the first person. In the photo, I like the juxtaposition between my newly planted tree compared to the giant pine tree in my neighbor’s backyard.
