Would an attic fan centered between the lower properly vented attic and the upper attic which is non-soffited with a ridge vent mitigate heat buildup. Again a roof ridge vent and triangle peak gable at the opposite end of the upper attic but no soffits or soffit baffles between the rafters and blown in insulation.
