A hurricane is moving in on New Orleans and Victor Helios's New Race is spinning out of control, some quite literally. Two detectives and Helios's first creation, Deucalion are so close to bring Helios to his end. Unexpected allies join the fight and at the right time, too. Evolution takes its toll on Helios's monstrosities and they'll need all the help they can get to end them.
