A closure in New York… WCBS-AM “NewsRadio 880”, a 57 year-old all-news radio station for New York City, is to close next week. After the end of a contract, ESPN New York 98.7 - owned by Emmis - will turn into a music station while they try to sell the station (just $50mn). The music format has yet to be announced.
