Considering terriorism why IS is referred as Islamic States. I am from India, some equal amount people are Muslim in our country I do not understand completely is IS is referred to Islamic States, is it because U.S. stands for United States, even after I do not have the clarity with it. I am asking this as because U.S. rules the world, somehow I can say that. Or is it because the NATO uses the term IS, is it like that. Any clarification around this is quite useful.
