Swedish airline Braathens has filed for bankruptcy, forcing travel operator Apollomatkat to reorganise flights for more than 1,000 Finnish customers. The airline was scheduled to operate several charter flights for Apollomatkat throughout October. These included return routes between Finland and Cyprus, Limnos, and Crete. Satu Kontulainen, PR manager at Apollomatkat, said the company was arranging alternative flights for affected passengers.
