A team of excavators has uncovered over 1,000 silver and gold coins valued at around 1 million US dollars from a centuries-old Spanish shipwreck off Florida’s “Treasure Coast.” The coins, some still bearing dates and mint marks, belong to a fleet that was lost in a hurricane in July 1715.
