AMD and OpenAI have signed a long-term partnership to deploy 6 gigawatts of AMD Instinct GPUs to power OpenAI’s future AI infrastructure. The rollout begins in the second half of 2026 with the installation of AMD’s Instinct MI450 accelerators, representing the first 1-gigawatt phase.
