In 2024, The Poetry Society has been collaborating with the University of Exeter and the South West Peatland Partnership on the Bog Talk project, funded by Natural England, to encourage education and creative engagement with peatland landscapes. In November, a group of creatives, peat restorers, scientists and archeologists came together for a day’s discussion about bogs in Exeter, followed by a poetry reading.
