I’m Brooke Leitgeb (Miers), and I am an epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the Infectious Diseases Pathology Branch (IDPB). I collaborate with our local and state public health colleagues regarding case submissions to IDPB. I also work to visualize and analyze IDPB’s data to allow data-driven decisions to be made throughout the branch. I have also been involved in CDC response work, including Zika virus, multiple large hurricanes, and COVID-19.
