Too often, I find myself pausing to wait for Dictation to catch up, on an M1 Max. I am not concerned with accuracy, just response time. Should the improvement in neural net from M1 through M5 result in a significant increase in speed? Or is it not great enough to warrant a chip upgrade? Given the same chip, are 3rd party apps any faster than Apple’s built-in Dictation?
