The reconciliation law (H.R. 1; P.L. 119-21) appropriated more than $45 billion for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) to support immigration efforts. While most of the funding is for federal purposes, some goes to states, including for the 287(g) Program.
