MacOS 9 shipped with a very 3D, Platinum-tinted Quantum Foam wallpaper, which was later Aqua-tinted for Mac OS X. Like the previous edition made in a rainbow assortment, Quantum Foam SE features light and dark mode versions, with HEIC files that can switch automatically between light and dark or fade dynamically throughout the day.
