"When the San Vicente Lumber Co. closed in 1924, the mill at Delaware Avenue was tore down," writes Local History columnist Ross Eric Gibson. "Among what remained were its millpond (now Antonelli Pond) and its concrete buildings, being the boiler house and the railroad station after the ocean shore tracks had been removed from Delaware Avenue."
