Matthew Silverstone, at the young age of 18, has sacrificed more for Colorado than most can imagine. But we should not be asking our kids to save themselves. More must be done to protect students who attend school hoping to grow and learn, and far too often in the past decade have found themselves trying to survive the horrors of mass shootings and the trauma that follows.
