The detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has abandoned his plan to call witnesses in his defence in his ongoing trial for alleged terrorism offences. Instead, Kanu told the court that he has reviewed the case file and believes there is no valid charge against him, rendering his defence unnecessary.
