After years of the Medical Faculty Associates losing money — which sits $444 million in debt, GW started negotiating with UHS to cofund the enterprise. With so much at stake, we urge GW to remember that while discussions about severing financial ties with the MFA have dominated the conversation, it is not the only priority the community cares about as all parties weigh the future of the medical enterprise.
