Just want to chime in to say I’ve also encountered this issue in the following scenario: Have a main Joplin installation with thousands of notes and revisions, with revision history set to 10000 (i.e. a very large number to try to get it to not delete any revisions). Set up a new Joplin installation on a separate laptop, start syncing, forget to change the revision history setting from the default 90 days. Joplin starts deleting nearly all my note history.
