Former poet Laureate of Vermont and pulitzer finalist Ellen Bryant Voigt died on October 23. She was a founder of the Goddard College low-residency MFA program, and received grants from the NEA and the Guggenheim Foundation. In 2015 she was awarded a MacArthur Fellowship.
