Z’Ibreyea Parker initially was charged with murder in her 9-day-old daughter's death, but was later allowed to plead to a lesser charge. The baby's father, Hilary Darnell Johnson II, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced last week to 19 years.
