Tabuccino - the Chrome browser plugin that keeps your tabs refreshedI published my second Google Chrome plugin today. I was getting tired of being logged out constantly of certain services and have to get my phone out to 2FA dozens of times per day. Some services have a very low lifetime and it interrupts my workflow. If you're like me and that gets annoying - this plugin is for you. KevinOctober 21st, 2025| kevinquillen.com - Still coding. Putting Hoi to useIn my last post I mentioned releasing a small project in Rust called Hoi, a task runner meant for collaboration or personal use. Hoi, a command line task runner built with RustDuring covid lockdowns I had several projects in my spare time to keep me busy. One of them was teaching myself to learn how to read sheet music. Another was building an LCD screen marquee of data powered by a Raspberry Pi 3. One was to learn how to write my own programming language using the book "Crafting Interpreters" by Robert Nystrom. The book uses Java I believe as a teaching tool, but I wanted to learn Rust and do it that way. KevinMay 7...| kevinquillen.com - Still coding. Still rocking. Still ranting.
Bruno, a great new API client for developmentFor many years, Postman was a tool of choice for me when testing APIs while in development. It was a quick way to construct HTTP requests of any type and probe responses, test auth, things of that nature. It made quick work of figuring out how to design consumers, client wrappers and objects in Drupal to work with data structures from APIs. However over the years Postman took some odd turns that makes it largely unusable for me, especially on Linux...| kevinquillen.com - Still coding. Still rocking. Still ranting.

Forticlient seems to have a lot of issues working correctly on Fedora and/or SAML required setups (where you complete the auth in an external browser). The best I can get from the error logs is that the connection was terminated. Fortinets support of Linux is not the best.| kevinquillen.com
