This issue is with the resolution used by the Canvas Speedgrader when rendering PDF files. Canvas will "refresh" the pdfs at different resolutions depending on the zoom level chosen in the speedgrader pdf viewer, but also depending on the zoom level of the browser window itself. In the Instructure Data Access Platform, when querying the Namespace: Catalog, the orders table, there is a column called "source". However, when courses are created and loaded through SIS, students do receive those announcement notifications. Is this expected behavior? I'm using checkpoint discussions not sure if it applies to those who don't use that feature. If you use the speed grader and look at the individual posts view the history feature is missing. Canvas is putting in assignments that are not due yet in as zeroes in PowerSchool. I have set up all the sync categories and checked the due dates. It isn't effecting all of my classes and the classes it is effecting it's not doing it to all students. This is greatly changing their grades in PowerSchool and causing issues with parents.
