Overview User trust is a measure of whether the user believes the system will act appropriately in a given situation, and can be useful for predicting how the user will interact (or not) with a system. The Test Science team at IDA has developed and is the process of validating one scale for measuring trust in automated systems, The Trust in Automated Systems Test (TOAST[RYS1] [GEA2] ). References for additional scales which are worth considering are also included. Planned future updates to ...| Test Science

Look to our Interactive Tools. Get familiar with JEDIS (JMP Experimental Design Iterative Solver)! The JMP add-in helps automate the Design of Experiments process. JEDIS builds multiple test designs in JMP over user-specified ranges of sample sizes, signal-to-noise ratios, and confidence levels. It then automatically calculates the statistical power for each design and presents the results in interactive plots and data tables. Find it here!Read More →| Test Science
