For Thursday's home economics class, we made bread! This is my dad's recipe. My dad made bread a lot! He always made the rolls for any holiday. My family fell in love with this recipe this summer when my sister in law made these at our family reunion. These are awesome sugar cookies! They are great frosted with a buttercream frosting, cream cheese frosting, a plain vanilla frosting from a store bought jar, or with a glace. I also use this recipe for fruit pizza with a cream cheese frosting, topped with fruit. I've also used it to make a cookie cake (shown below the recipe). The dough is the perfect consistency. Even though I lost my running buddy when she got pregnant, I was more than excited for her and happy to give her a baby shower! Instead of her having multiple showers she decided to have one large one so I had lots of help in getting this shower together, and really that is the best way to go because doing a shower by yourself can get very expensive!| Cook!
