Dr. Beth Ratay, a faculty member at The University of New Mexico, has been awarded a Discovery Grant from OPERA America’s Opera Grants for Women Composers program. Ana Alonso-Minutti (she/hers) is an associate professor of music, research associate of the Southwest Hispanic Research Institute, and faculty affiliate of the Latin American and Iberian Institute and the Feminist Research Institute at the University of New Mexico.
