One year ago, I wrote my first post for this blog. I had just discovered the "tiny internet" and was intent on (one day) fully distancing myself from social media. I started on Bear Blog thinking it might be the thing that finally gets me to write after over a year of writer's block. I saw it as the answer to a lot of the questions and worries I had surrounding the internet, social media, and my future as a writer.| The Birdhouse
Every summer as a kid, I would read nonstop. During a successful summer, I could finish a book a day. Not because I had to (though it was a great way to tackle summer reading assignments), but because there was literally nothing better to do. These days, TV and movies and social media make that pretty much impossible, though I know deep down its an issue of lack of willpower. So this summer, I made a pact with myself to try to read every day and see how many books I could finish. Below, I'll ...| The Birdhouse

After our walk, we were productive and stayed out for a majority of the day. While out, I wasn't keeping trac...| The Birdhouse

Every few months I get a little trapped in my tiny internet circle. I love the tiny web because, even when your corner of the internet can feel desolate, there's no denying that there are countless personal websites to explore! I learned about SpaceHey (check out my profile) a while back, maybe about a year or so ago, but haven't really checked it out until now. I made an account today while I had a few hours to kill and have been having a blast!| The Birdhouse
