Every Cathay Pacific livery from 1971 to present has been subtle and classy in a way that has made me compare everyone else in the industry to them. | Norebbo
Say what you will about the Learjet 45, but I think it was one of the best looking business jets ever produced. It’s ultra sleek, fairly compact, and it’s got a cool “retro” vibe to it that I don’t see in other business jets from this era.| Norebbo
If you started reading my blog after about 2013 or so, you probably don’t realize that I used to be heavy into 3d modeling. Long story short, I’ve been getting that itch again, and I just spent the last two months building a Lamborghini 3d model. More specifically, a 3d model of a Lamborghini Huracan.| Norebbo
I think that I’m really starting to like business jets. After spending the last two weeks working on this set of side view templates for the Gulfstream G650ER, I’m beginning to think about which business jet I’m going to buy the day I become obscenely rich.| Norebbo
It’s been a while since I’ve last illustrated an aircraft that kept me scratching my head in confusion the entire time, but the Comac C919 did it. Quite frankly, it’s a weird (but neat) airplane which seems to borrow a lot of design elements from other aircraft:| Norebbo
Well, here I go. After years of politely telling y’all that “yes, business jet templates are coming”, I have finally made good on my word. Although these Citation X blank illustration templates didn’t come as quickly as I had hoped, it is significant in that it is the first of what will be many business and corporate jet templates to come.| Norebbo
The more side view aircraft templates I create, the more and more I appreciate the simplicity of modern business jets. The Bombardier Global 5000 side profile illustrations you see below were a refreshing change of pace from some of my more recent aircraft illustrations.| Norebbo
As I promised two days ago, here is the Bombardier CS300 side view template. This is the stretched version of the CS100 that I recently uploaded, and it’s pretty much the same airplane except for a longer fuselage. Unfortunately, there is only one (ok, maybe two) flying prototypes of this aircraft in existence right now and it’s been very difficult to find decent reference material.| Norebbo
Finding the time (and energy) to create these side view airliner templates isn’t easy. Of course it’s fun, but it can be downright tedious at times and it’s hard to stay focused when I’d much rather be doing more creative work instead. But I’m staying on track with my goal of creating templates for as many commercial aircraft as I can, and this Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet 200 is the next airplane in that series of illustrations.| Norebbo
I’ve always said that less is more when it comes to airline livery design. The two most recent Korean Air liveries are perfect examples of how to create a sleek and sophisticated airline color scheme with relatively simple design elements:| Norebbo
Formerly known as the Global 7000, the Bombardier Global 7500 ultra long-range business jet is one that I’ve been itching to make templates for. Of course, I knew very little about it until I actually sat down to create the illustrations.| Norebbo
The side profile of the Learjet 60 is one of the most interesting aircraft side profiles I have ever illustrated. Don’t get me wrong – I’m not declaring it to be the best looking. Not by a long shot.| Norebbo
You know you’re getting old when aircraft types you remember being launched brand new start to become the target of freighter conversion companies.| Norebbo

Based on the sheer volume of requests I have received to illustrate the Douglas DC-3, it’s safe to say that it just may be the world’s most iconic aircraft.| Norebbo
I’m actually kind of surprised that it took me so long to create side view templates of the Boeing 707. It’s a set of illustrations that I’ve been promising for years, and I never intended to push it off for so long.| Norebbo
There are 6 main variants of the Airbus A300 family of aircraft. The A300-600 (A300B4) is one of them. Making things a bit more complicated is the fact that there are 6 sub-variants of just the 600/B4. It makes my head hurt just thinking about the entire lineup, but all you need to know is...| Norebbo
The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 is my second favorite aircraft of all time. This should be of no surprise considering that the DC-10 is numero uno. Fun fact: I illustrated a DC-10 with missiles and machine guns attached to the bottom of the wings when I was 10 years old (1984). I seriously considered writing McDonnell...| Norebbo
In my opinion, the UPS livery is a masterclass in airline livery design. There have been three versions of it since 1988, each featuring the same basic color scheme while iterating on the best elements of the previous one. It’s always been bold. Classy. And most importantly: unique. How many airline liveries can you name...| Norebbo
How embarrassed should I be that it has taken me this long to create side view templates of the legendary Boeing 727-100? Think of me what you will, but today is the day that I am checking it off my to-do list. Side view templates of the Boeing 727-100 As a reminder, I’ve already created...| Norebbo
Illustrating these side view templates of the Fokker 70 was as amusing as it was satisfying. On one hand, it was hard not to chuckle every time that I fired up Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to continue working on this little f**ker. On the other hand, it felt good to illustrate the much needed shortened...| Norebbo
With only 100 ever produced, I’m not really sure who wants (or needs) detailed side view illustrations of the British Aerospace Jetstream 41. No matter. There was very little that could’ve stopped me from spending the last three weeks of my life creating the set of drawings you see below. Side view templates of the...| Norebbo
The Hawaiian Airlines livery has gone through an interesting evolution over the years. Each new design has played off the best parts of the one it replaced, and they’ve all succeeded magnificently in capturing the spirt of Aloha. Here’s a closer look at some of their past liveries on a variety of different aircraft types...| Norebbo
