Just recently, I picked up a vintage mug for my shop and looked at the bottom of it. It was made by Papel. Papel is a company I've seen for decades. I've owned Papel mugs for years, and I remember seeing it growing up. I just figured Papel was another gift-making company, like Hallmark, that had been around since the '80s.| www.perennialvintagesupply.com
The thing about living on the West Coast is that we don't always get the colloquial style or fashion of designers from the East or South, particularly if the designer is from that area. At least, this is how it used to be before advertising was as big as it is now, which includes the invention of social media. But decades ago, a designer from the East Coast may not have been as popular on the West Coast, all because of locality.| www.perennialvintagesupply.com

It goes in waves. The Pyrex, that is.About a week and a half ago, I thrifted a pink bowl in the Gooseberry pattern, the largest bowl in the Cinderella shape (the pour spout shape), after about two months of not finding a piece. Two months! Now, I realize I have a lot of Pyrex, so the pieces I need are becoming few and far between. As they should.| Perennial Vintage Supply

I hope you all have a very merry Christmas. This year is special to me because both of my boys will be leaving the "nest" soon. My oldest gets married in May and my youngest moves away to college in January, so next Christmas will be the first "different" one we've had in decades.I hope you can celebrate this time with family and friends, this Christmas. That's what matters the most. You never know when things will change because, in reality, everything changes. I'm so thankful for what I hav...| Perennial Vintage Supply
