It turned out to be the culprit - as soon as I’ve disabled its auto-transformation stuff and added Hook to excluded apps just to be safe - everything started working just as it should. When you say “broken links” or “dead links”, do you mean you don’t need those links or the bookmarks those links refer to no longer exist, and you want to get rid of them? Brand-new user with the Pro version. I use keyboard shortcuts as much as possible to remain efficient and because I have limitations using mouse/trackpad. I can open the Hookmark context window, but am unable to open the Title menu/Action menu. Control-T does not work in multiple applications. I am guessing there is a conflict with another keyboard shortcut, but am unable to find this. I tried tab key, arrow key, no luck. I would simply try this in the free demo version, but it apparently doesn’t include custom extensions and scripting. I do a lot of MariaDB database work, and use it as a general information store. I use various GUIs for this (notably Sequel Pro and Querious) but also use it from bash or Ruby or Python scripts. I would love to be able to select a field containing a URL (or a Hookmark link?) and be able to quickly go to that link via a contextual menu item or a hot key. In Things I created a link to a to-do with Hookmark and inserted that link into an Excel spreadsheet. When I click on that link in Excel, Things is activated, but I get the same error as in 6248: The link itself looks like this: https://hookmark.net/hm/things//show?id=UiBuR7eu5TaDX3v1bWRpV I even tried it with a triple slash before the “open” keyword but still get the same error. I am using the latest versions of Bookends and Hookmark on a 2017 iMac running Ventura. When I select an item in my Bookends library and invoke Hookmark, I get the “No linkable item found in Bookends” message. I’m just pointing out a very strange (and disturbing) phenomenon. I have deleted a number of bookmarks with Hook’s delete function several times.
