One of my first blogposts was about e. I hate that post so much that I've decided to write up a new one. | All Over 2a
Out of the many post-punk bands that were around for the first wave of the late 70s, Young Marble Giants often get overlooked. However, they didn't really have the chance to gain prominence, owing to the band only releasing one album, two EPs, and a Peel Session when they were active. That album, Colossal Youth, was a hit on the UK Indie Charts and even did okay in New Zealand, but unfortunately it was merely the beginning of the end.| All Over 2a

Sometimes you decide to go to a place because you look at the train fare, realise it's relatively low to what you might have expected, and choose to head off. That's why I went to Oxted, though I will admit I didn't spend all that much time there. Is half an hour enough? I'm not sure, but I did get a blogpost out of it, so it can't have been that little!| All Over 2a
The last frontier to the Gatwick behemoth is an unsuspecting commuter town, one of the last in the Oyster zone1 before you enter the wild west of singles and suffixed routes.| All Over 2a
So I got my A Levels back and I don't like them much, which will sound funny when I reveal what grades I got:| All Over 2a
I don't eat toast much, but when I do, it's usually multiseed loaf sliced medium that's my bread of choice.| All Over 2a
I have officially finished the Sutton loop posts. Let's goooooooooooo!| All Over 2a
Today, I'm discussing the remaining three stations on the Sutton loop which have been unblogged. One of them is somewhat new. They're also all on the same railway line, and, alongside Carshalton, are debatably not part of the Sutton loop at all. | All Over 2a
This is another blogpost about the Sutton loop.| All Over 2a

Slowdive are one of the biggest shoegaze bands, shoegaze being a genre dominated by an overreliance on guitar pedals to create a dreamy rock atmosphere. I've briefly discussed Slowdive on this blog, but it didn't go beyond a quick comment on one song before moving on, but that alone wouldn't give their music justice.| All Over 2a
After 300 posts, I thought it would be a good idea to look back on word counts once again. Still equipped with my handy spreadsheet, which I have been updating on a semi-regular basis, I've managed to come up with these statistics (which don't include this post, obviously):| All Over 2a
You've probably never thought about this, but the chances of anything being the answer to a quiz are rather low. Sure, King Henry VIII has probably been immortalised through questions about the number of wives he had, and football stattos are always likely to test people on how many goals someone got. Yet that leaves thousands of nicher concepts to never be tested.| All Over 2a
There will be just one city represented in the Premier League next season - Manchester. Apologies for the joke.| All Over 2a

I've been writing for several years now; the blog is one example, I've been doing it for two years, but even prior to that, I've dabbled in attempting short stories and poetry. Whether the efforts are any good, I'm not certain. Several of those attempts can be found on this blog, in fact.| All Over 2a
In the second instalment of the OPZ series, I've visited one of the farthest places rather early. Only six South London bus routes get beyond the M25, and three of them go to Bluewater, so of the routes that don't end by a capitalist beacon, there's only the 246, 405, and 465 left. From those, the 405 goes to Redhill, which is where I went.| All Over 2a
I said I wouldn't do this, but I've since changed my mind because why not. This is a blogpost about Gatwick Airport - the only place in Sussex accessible by Oyster - and I regret it.| All Over 2a

The first peripheral area of London accessible for free that I visited was Warlingham, a charming village in Surrey, specifically the district of Tandridge. It's only about a kilometre outside of London, though, yet even then feels quite isolated.| All Over 2a
My Oyster Zip card will expire come the end of September, and with it, I'll no longer get free travel on buses. As someone who loves travelling around London, this will be very inconvenient, and, along with getting my National Insurance number and completing my A Levels, the expiration will be another indication that I'm growing up faster than I would want to.| All Over 2a
Millwall will yet again be in the Championship for the 2025/26 season, their ninth in a row. Only Bristol City, Queens Park Rangers, Preston North End (this will be their eleventh) and Middlesbrough (this will be their ninth) come close to such a consistent streak. Let's see what the other clubs from the 2017/18 season have been up to:| All Over 2a
The largest town in Surrey, Guildford has a long and well-storied history, having been mentioned in Alfred the Great's will, and has over time developed into a major town with royal connections. Currently home to nearly 80,000 people, Guildford may also look like a regular commuter town, home to workers travelling in and out of London daily, yet it is far more interesting than merely that. I visited various different sites on a trip to Guildford, as a break from studying:| All Over 2a
