Washington Privacy Organizers is experimenting with using decentralized social networks like Mastodon and Bluesky as part of our advocacy for strong privay legislation in Washington state. The initial results are promising — legislators told us they got a lot of mail before the February 14 committee vote on the People’s Privacy Act, which is great, and the committee voted 7-4 to advance the bill, which is even better!
