In August, the Ohio River Way and the Ohio River Valley Sanitation Commission (ORSANCO) sponsored “river sweep” events on four Ohio River islands in the Louisville area. Eighteen Mile Island, Twelve Mile Island, Six Mile Island and Sand Island. These river cleanups are an essential part of the effort to protect the water quality of the Ohio River. The Ohio River provides clean and safe drinking water and recreation opportunities for millions of people in the region. | fallsoftheohio.org

Since their formation Motherfolk has been on a steady upward trajectory, amassing well over 5 million Spotify streams on their three studio albums and selling out shows while touring heavily across the United States.| fallsoftheohio.org
