Hiya, we just bought our first RV, a 1996 Great West Classic Supreme with 20K miles. Love it! Already got new shoes, and getting new shocks before end of the season. Looking forward to putting a lot more than 20K miles on it in the coming years ◡̈| Class B Forums
An employee at our service garage recently challenged the logic of swapping out the oil in our RT prior to the start of its outside winter hibernation. He says that there is no risk associated with of leaving the old oil for 6 months. My belief has been that contaminants in the oil present a possible corrosion hazard.| Class B Forums
After purchasing our 2008 Roadtrek 210 (2007 Express 3500 Chassis) and learning that these rigs run hot from others on this forum, I decided to make some upgrades. This posting is about these upgrades. Thanks to booster for his write up of the changes that he made for the idea. I didn't use the same radiator that booster did for two reasons. Booster's write-up was based on using a late 90's radiator from a big block express van. This radiator didn't have the oil cooler in the...| Class B Forums
This Sunday will end a month-long road trip, much of it through mountainous regions. I'm happy to say that our tubby has functioned well both up and down grades, and thanks to youngnretired for a timely post:| Class B Forums
Does anyone know where I could find a replacement for the sun visors (drivers side and passenger side) in my 1998 Rialta? Or possibly a suggestion to repair them.... they have significant sun damage from long exposure.| Class B Forums

On my 2002 Rialta, I installed a transmission cooler and a kit that eliminates the original VW transmission cooler - the one that sits on the top of the transmission. The kit came with large spacers that allow the reuse of the original banjo bolts. Two o-rings were included, and I watched the video on the use of this kit and placement of the o-rings. When I started the engine, there appeared to be no leaks. | Class B Forums
The last two days, our 07 express van has had intermittent issues of the power windows. Sometimes the buttons (both drivers and passengers) work and sometimes not, and when they work, all buttons will work all windows, and when they don't, no buttons work. Even if the windows don't work, the door lock button works. We've looked for a master control button, but don't find one.| Class B Forums

I own a Thor Scope, and somehow a mouse got inside the walls and ceiling. I suspect it chewed into some wiring, because the 4-pin trailer plug is now not powered, nor are the 2 licence plate lights. I am unsure how to trace the wiring harness to locate the cause of the dead wiring. Has anyone had a similar experience?| Class B Forums

I've tried to google ideas for descending a steep grade in a heavy van, but all I find is things on semi's with jake brakes. Not quite applicable to our 9200lb 08C210P Roadtrek.| Class B Forums

I have had a 2003 chev roadtrek that has had a slow filling fuel tank since I got it 7 years ago.I had lots of owners with the same problem telling me the problem was the relocation of the filler neck to behind the rear wheel was the problem.Turns out the factory clamp holding the new hose was crushed upon installation.I took it to a shop with a lift to change the brake fluid and try to solve the problem. He found the hose clamp when installed was crushed half closed. He used a set of pliers...| Class B Forums
Does anyone have a Sprinter 3500 170 Extended van with a ladder/tire carrier on the back ? I want to add this but I am concerned about the added length of the van. I have a spare underneath the van so planning on putting a box where the tire would go and maybe attach my chairs to the ladder to free up some inside space. This would also give me access to the roof for maintenance which was the initial reason for getting a ladder.| Class B Forums

We've been researching and planning for years and have decided 2025 is when we will hit the road. Based on what we want, we realized a custom van is the best way to go for us. So next step, is to find the right company....and there's so many of them, with build prices all over the place.| Class B Forums
