For this "Do Over" project I'm going to upcycle a Lysol Wipes container into an adorable textured flowers vase using caulk. It's a fun way to add texture, depth and dimension to outlined or sketched flowers! And you won't believe how easy it is to add character, and interest to those types of flowers giving off a three dimensional appearance.| Purple Hues and Me

Easter is almost here so instead of dyeing Easter eggs, how about decoupaging faux eggs with lovely paper napkin flowers and then creating a beautiful raised effect using the napkin flower designs on foam sheets to create a dimensional or 3D impact! It's an exciting way to add depth and texture to paper mache, plastic or wooden eggs and it looks quite unique, too! Sounds cool, doesn't it! And the fun part, you can display them all spring, use them for special occasions, and save them to decor...| Purple Hues and Me

I'm back at it again grabbing plastic bottles out of the recycled bin! This time I'm using Minute Maid Fruit drink bottles! The plastic bottle is smooth and firm at 52 fl. oz - that's thirteen inches around - perfect to create some gorgeous Upcycled Christmas Ornaments! | Purple Hues and Me
I love it when I can make a craft from items - especially recycled ones I have in my stash! I found a small heavy duty cardboard tube in the stash that I have no clue where it came from. I imagine something was wrapped around it, but there were no markings or glue on it. I just knew that I wanted to make something out of it and not throw it away! Now the time has come to do just that! | Purple Hues and Me
Repurpose a throw away soda bottle (trash) into a lovely monochromatic goody bag! Something so creative, enjoyable and beneficial for the environment at the same time! A goody bag made out of a recycled soda bottle is so simple to make resulting in a gorgeous look especially when trimmed in a black filigree monochrome color! I love using soda bottles in projects as seen here, here, here, here, here, and here! I think I may have gotten carried away crafting using soda bottles, but this mono...| Purple Hues and Me
