This was the first picture in my collection. This is the one that started my interest in antique photos of automobiles. I think I paid 50 cents for it. Car appears to be a 1909 or 1910 Ford Model T Tourabout. The architectural style of the house is called a dogtrot house. A sticker on the back of the photo has a name and address: Mrs. Norman Weiss 205 W. Choctaw Ave. Dumas, Arkansas 71639| Flickr

Poster Print by artist Martin Howard Kintsugi (金継ぎ?, きんつぎ, "golden joinery"), also known as Kintsukuroi (金繕い?, きんつくろい, "golden repair"),[1] is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum, a method similar to the maki-e technique.[2][3][4] As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.| Flickr

It seems like it's less of a stigma today than when i was in high school, but i still definitely get a weird vibe from some people when they see my morning pile of sanity on the counter. When some gangsters force you to take a "service" you don't want and threaten to seize your property or life if you don't pay for it... We all know that's actually just extortion, a protection racket where they are stealing money from you, regardless of whether they actually provide you some supposed benefit in return.
