Everyone remember the conversion of the Cloak and Sword Sanguine class I made last year that was inspired from the half burned pages I sto...| whimsicalmountain.blogspot.com
I present to you Exquisite CΔrpse 4. This one has the gimmick that each participant is writng not a full delta, but half of one. The delta's requirement is written by the first person listed, the effect is by the second. Except for GRIM CHALLENGER, Universal Constant and Uncrowned, all other names were made by me after the fact. The participants in this one are AntiTime, semiurge, Robot_Face, Blattella, Bad Doctor, BOROSILICATE_IVY, choiroffire, nayba and MystralianCryatist.| The Whimsical Mountain
I found this Cloak and Sword class while browsing some sketchy sites that probably gave me virus or two. Inexplicably from what I can find this class originated from the Horror supplement and has nothing to do with the Sanguine class despite fitting each other quite well.| The Whimsical Mountain
I actually wrote this class way back during the original Cloak and Sword bandwagon, but was never quite happy with it so never posted it. I...| whimsicalmountain.blogspot.com
Assassin bandwagon, woo! Shout out to the unreality of numbers , from who I stole a lot of the mechanics. Bleeding Heart Starting Equipmen...| whimsicalmountain.blogspot.com
Here is the post for Exquisite CΔrpse 3. I’m sure everyone was waiting at the edge of their seat for it. Thank you to the contributors. AntiTime, CatDragon, TheFirstGokun, MystralianCryatist, Semiurge PLEASE semiurge please I’m semiurge PLEASE include me, Hi Semiurge, Tanuki/Slug/Molochrome, SaltyGoo, Loch, EosOfDawn, OwlbearChickenhawk and Shadowfray. | The Whimsical Mountain
For challenge 6 of glogtober I choose the prompt 'Secrets of the stones', and wrote what I think is my first dungeon. I think it sorta vaguely matches the prompt however. Content warning for implied suicide and unhealthy relationship dynamics.| The Whimsical Mountain
For challenge 5 of glogtober I will be doing the prompt 'Oracles and Sages', specifically I'll be doing three oracles.| The Whimsical Mountain
For challenge 3 of glogtober I will do "Esoteric Orders and Creeds'. Since there are as many days left in the month as I have challenges left, I think I'm going to play a bit fast and lose with the prompt. I have an idea I want to make a post about and picked the prompt that best matches it rather then the other way around. | The Whimsical Mountain
For my glogtober seventh challenge but fourth entry I will be doing the prompt of ‘Romance’. I have had the weird idea for a class who’s premise was “what if you had too much blood and you needed a vampire friend to leech off the excess?” since last Glogtober and I have finally penned it. | The Whimsical Mountain
For my third entry of glogtober, I rolled the following prompt from Vivanter, 'Real world artwork that inspires your RPG practice.' I was struggling coming up with something gameable to share, but I think this is an intresting enough thought to share (also it's half way throught the month and I have some more entries to get throught).| The Whimsical Mountain
For my second glogtober post this year I have 'Collaborate on a post with another person who got this result.' which I am doing with Sylvanas over at the Red Lantern. Together we worked on a set of rules for alchemy that they were already been considering, then we both made some some a set of recipies for it.| The Whimsical Mountain
It's another glogtober folks, so let's start things off by getting in spirit for the season with challenge 1: Some Spooky Halloween Monsters.| The Whimsical Mountain
My first entry for this year's GLOGtober is slightly late, I was a bit stuck on this first entry. Now could I have set the first entry aside and first done a different one that was easier, yes yes I could have. For the first entry I rolled a 1, but couldn't think of something that spoke to me, so I rolled again, either as a replacement or something to combine with the first prompt, and got another 1. Damn what a coincidence, so I rolled my d6 again and can you guess what result I rolled that ...| The Whimsical Mountain
Inspired by this post, I decided to make my own post in this style from character ideas I had lying around. Also shout out to Cat Dragon for providing feedback and editing help with this post!1.Elena Smirt| The Whimsical Mountain
Sorry this post is a little late, I got distracted by things. Shout out to Xenophon of Athens, RandomWizard, semi-IDIOT, deus ex shit, Purplethulu, TheFirstGokun, Spwack, Sundered, Squig, theisticGilthoniel, Filth Pig and Phlox for participating. I have added a lot of connective tissue between these templates to tie them together, but left each delta itself unedited.| The Whimsical Mountain
My last post has been around 2 or 3 years ago, those that frequent the secret gathering places of gretchlings will know I never really went away, I just went from a participant to a lurker. Likely becouse I have been playing recently I have had ideas about what to write. I don't want to promise anyone more consistant posting, but I do have a class for you today.| The Whimsical Mountain
The purpose of a wall is deny access to a location, the purpose of a tunnel is to allow access to a location, the purpose of a door is to do both. Ironically many of the thaumaturges who devote themselves the most to doors must blind themselves to this fact if they want to practice the secret Arts of Key and Lock.| The Whimsical Mountain
Recently I ran a "Exquisite CΔrpse" on the Phlox GLOGscord. It's like the game of Exquisite Corpse, but instead of drawing we're writing abilities. You can read the rules here. Special thanks to SunderedWorldDM, Locheil, Phlox, Lexi, Spawk, Squigboss, Owlbear Chickenhawk and a Random Wizard for participating. As well as Hawk-Moth for helping with coming up with a name for this thing.| The Whimsical Mountain
The wine-dark Arabus constantly churns out debris, dead fish and faiths. The Driftwood Papacy scours along beaches and dredges with nets to rummage through these. Only the sturdy sea-bleached branches are kept, and only the suitably pungent carcasses are used for fish sauces, but each and every faith is kept. The Papacy is judgmental and rigid, but they are not book burners.| The Whimsical Mountain
There are problems where the difficulty is not in coming up with a clever solution, or fighting against a foe that opposes you, but in perseverance. Sometimes you need to push against the world it doesn't feel satisfying for the GM to say either "Yes you do"/"No you can't"/"Hm, make a check against it."| The Whimsical Mountain
So I had a weird idea a while back that I wanted to make into a GLOG class, but I couldn't think of 4 abilities that would make sense one after the other. Now that I'm accustomed to Deltas...| The Whimsical Mountain
It's been a while and I kind of stopped blogging out of shame over half-assing the Ink-tober post with the cat and general malaise. But now I'm back and I found a brand new RPG thingy that I'm going to make content for!| The Whimsical Mountain
Based off the prompts of black cat and tribe I was thinking of a tribe that has witches who ride big black cats but I can't think of anything for the tribe I've only got an idea for the cats.| The Whimsical Mountain
