Platter, an e-commerce technology startup, has raised $1.6 million in a pre-seed round. Animal Capital led the investment with participation from Visionary Ventures, e-commerce veterans Ben Jabbawy, Kyle Hency, Aaron Spivak, Pierson Krass and others.
