Narcissistic baiting refers to a narcissistic person using “bait” to get an emotional reaction from someone. The aim of narcissistic baiting is not necessarily to have you back in their life as a partner or friend. Narcissists do it to keep their sources of narcissistic supply in place through various tactics discussed below.
