Latin American economies have not had much to celebrate in 2023, except for Mexico’s, which has shined with positive growth rates and lower-than-expected inflation. The outlook for Mexico is not completely rosy, and much will depend on internal and external factors, such as the fate of its large neighbour and trading partner to the north.
